The Controversy of Lingam Massage

I think this is an ethical issue and should be discussed rather thoroughly. For those that don't know. Here's an article about what the massage is really about. It's kind of difficult to judge something we know nothing about right? So to be fair, here's a short education on Lingam massage:

The Sanskrit word for the male sexual organ is Lingam and is loosely translated as "Wand of Light." In Tantra or Sacred Sexuality, the Lingam is respectfully viewed and honored, as a "Wand of Light" that channels creative energy and pleasure.

Orgasm is not the goal of the Lingam massage although it can be a pleasant and welcome side effect. The goal is to massage the Lingam, also including testicles, perineum and Sacred Spot (prostate) externally, allowing the man to surrender to a form of pleasure he may not be accustomed to. From this perspective both receiver and giver relax into the massage.

Men need to learn to relax and receive. Traditional sexual conditioning has the man in a doing and goal oriented mode. The Lingam Massage allows the man to experience his softer, more receptive side and experience pleasure from a non-traditional perspective.

Beginning the Massage

Have the receiver lie on his back with pillows under his head so he can look up at his partner (giver). Place a pillow, covered with a towel, under his hips. His legs are to be spread apart with the knees slightly bent (pillows or cushions under the knees will also help) and his genitals clearly exposed for the massage. Before contacting the body, begin with deep, relaxed breathing. Gently massage the legs, abdomen, thighs, chest, nipples, etc., to get the receiver to relax. Remind the receiver to breathe deeply and to sink deeper into relaxation.

Pour a small quantity of oil on the shaft of the Lingam and testicles. Begin gently massaging the testicles, taking care to not cause pain in this sensitive area. Massage the scrotum gently, causing it to relax. Massage the area above the Lingam, on the pubic bone. Massage the perineum, the area between the testicles and anus. Take time when massaging the shaft of the Lingam. Vary the speed and pressure. Gently squeeze the Lingam at the base with your right hand, pull up and slide off, then alternate with your left hand. Take your time doing this, right, left, right, left, etc. Then, change the direction by starting the squeeze at the head of the Lingam and then sliding down and off. Again, alternate with right and left hands.

Massage the head of the Lingam as if you are using an orange juicer. Massage all around the head and shaft. In Tantra there are many nerve endings on the Lingam that correspond to other parts of the body. It is believed that many ailments may be cured by a good Lingam massage. The Lingam may or may not go soft as you perform this technique. Do not worry if it doesn't get hard again. You will probably find that it will get hard, then go soft, get hard again, etc., which is a highly desirable Tantric experience, like riding a wave, bobbing up and down. Hardness and softness are two ends of the pleasure spectrum.

If it appears that the receiver is going to ejaculate, back off, allowing the Lingam to soften a little before resuming the massage. Do this several times, coming close to ejaculation, and then backing off. It is important to remember that the goal is not orgasm in and of itself. Men can learn the art of ejaculatory mastery and control by coming close to ejaculation and then backing off on the stimulation. Deep breathing is key here and will soften the urge to ejaculate. Eventually ejaculatory mastery will allow you to make love as long as you want and you can become multi-orgasmic without losing a drop of semen. Orgasm and ejaculation are two different responses that you can learn to separate. The result is a very expanded sex life.

The Sacred Spot

Find and massage the male Sacred Spot. There is a small indentation about the size of a pea or maybe larger midway between the testicles and anus. Be gentle and push inward. He will feel the pressure deep inside and it may be uncomfortable at first. Eventually, as this area is worked on and softened, he will be able to expand his orgasms and master ejaculatory control. You can massage his Lingam with your right hand and massage his Sacred Spot with your left hand.

Try pushing in on this spot when he nears ejaculation. The man may have strong emotions come up during access to the Sacred Spot. Be the best friend and healer he could have in that moment. You, the giver, are creating a place of trust and intimacy.

Ending the Massage

When he feels complete (with the massage), gently remove your hands cover him and keep him warm. Most importantly, allow him to rest quietly for at least five to ten minutes.

I can't say its legalized prostitution but it is definitely in the very gray area where most questionable things are. For business people to exploit it is kind of scary, because it is just a small step away from full blown intercourse.

Cebu Restaurant Review: Roma Mia

The pasta in Roma Mia is considered one of the best in Cebu City. Meat may be scarce though if you get one of their Mobster Meals but nevertheless, it's still pretty tasty. They have seafood and spicy kinds of pasta as well, it's really quite delicious. Don't forget their pizza. That's not bad as well.

I'm not one of them foodies. Don't get me wrong, I love food but I go for the overall experience.

I've been there a lot of times and the problem I often encounter is that, it takes forever to get a waiter's attention. I'm not sure if they're undermanned or just untrained. The food sometimes takes too long to reach you too, so maybe it is a case of under-manning.

This is worse than the outlet in Ayala not accepting credit card sometimes. This of course is tolerable as their dishes aren't that expensive anyway so I think it's still value for money and I appreciate that.

Again I reiterate though, that until they improve their service - it's not easy to patronize them that's for sure.

Cebu Store Review: AudioNet vs. Junrex Cellphones and Accessories

AudioNet sells cellphones and cellphone accessories. I get my Globe load there often because it's the most convenient for me. But their customer service is just horrible. I've actually stopped going there and started going to their competitor across the mall - Junrex Cellphones and Accessories.

The people in Junrex are certainly a lot nicer. Although both stores don't accept Ayala Mall's EGC - that means Electronic Gift Certificate, I think Junrex pulls it off a lot better by being nicer overall.

Cebu Store Review: Executive Optical (EO)

Executive Optical is a known eye wear store that supposedly carries all the famous brands in terms of sun glasses and eye glasses. I've had a couple of experiences though that are rather disturbing and disappointing

  • Issue #1 - If you have something you'd like exchanged, forget about it! They are also not that competent so you have to know what you're buying. If you're not knowledgeable about eye-wear, you better get someone who is or otherwise you may get scr*wed. Anyway here's what happened to me.
  • Bought my boyfriend Oakley shades there. He's a sucker for Oakley shades and apparently so am I. Went there looking for brown canteen and so they get me the item I want put it in a box and off I go. However, after I gave it to my boyfriend - he notices that the shades were not brown but rust (Now call me stupid, but how was I supposed to tell the difference?). I tried to return the shades - before 7 days. I claimed that they gave me the wrong item. The box was labelled brown but the item inside was confirmed as rust. They confirmed it as well. Anyway, I was told they could do nothing about it. Boohoo for me
  • Issue #2 - Boyfriend's old square wire shades broke just a few months back and he tried to get the warranty from Executive Optical. The warranty was just about to end. Executive Optical told him they'd call but they never did.
The people at G-Force are much nicer. They were the ones who told us that there was a 1-year warranty to begin with. Now that's customer service. I've sworn off Executive Optical already. Good thing G-Force opened in Ayala Center too. Now I can just buy Oakley stuff there.

Cebu Store Review: Charles and Keith

I absolutely adore Charles and Keith. Whenever I pass by that shoe store I just drool over all the great designs and amazingly gorgeous high heels. They are just to die for!

And to die for is just probably the right phrase for it given that I haven't bought a pair that doesn't hurt. Don't get me wrong, I'm such a cheapskate I probably only have a couple or so pairs of Charles and Keith and they are so beautiful BUT they hurt so bad.

There's something about the way the shoe was made that just hurts near the toe area. Or maybe my foot is just wide? Don't just take my word for it though, I've asked around and many have given me feedback that their Charles and Keith pretty shoes also hurt. But all agree to how beautiful they are.

Hey Charles and Keith people! Your shoes are so beautiful but my feet disagree because of the pain. Hope they try to fix it. At some point, I need to be able to wear the shoes to appreciate them.

Cebu Store Review: Manel's Shoes

I've been to Ayala numerous times over the last few days, hunting for decent office shoes. It's come to my attention that Manel's has been having a sale for like forever. Are they going bankrupt? Or is it just a wily promotion to bloat prices and then give everyone half off?

It's kind of difficult to keep having 50% off on all items all the time right? Anyway, haven't gone in the store yet, as the last time I was there about a month ago, there wasn't any new stock. But maybe there's some now

KC Montero is Cassandra Monteroid

KC Montero Is The Next Bb Gandanghari?

Has KC Montero turned into the next Bb Gandanghari right after the conversion of the infamous Rustom Padilla?

KC Montero has done some outlandish stuff in his hey-day. I'm not sure if he's still in his hey-day but well... he still has his own radio show and a lot of artists do think he is interesting, so there must be something to it.

Just recently apparently he lost a bet, as a consequence he has to dress up as Cassandra Monteroid. The bet involved none other than worldwide teen pop star Justin Bieber. The boy behind the annoyingly sensationalized song "Baby" and "One Time."

Somebody must have relayed his tweet which went "Lets start a campaign for Justin Bieber to follow me. I will come to work in drag if he does." Last July 5 - it happened and so KC Montero had to dress up like this all the following week. He's even prettier than ex-partner Geneva Cruz

Island Banca's Talima Water Park

I haven't been there yet, but I'm excited about it. At least it's something new in Cebu. There are so many beaches here already but as for water parks - there aren't a lot. Well there's Imperial Water Park which costs an arm and a leg (P 1,700 per head for day use was what I heard). Anyway this Talima Adventure Water Park apparently only costs about P 350 - P 400 with boat fair, water park entrance and getting to enjoy the amenities. There's supposed to be food there but I'm not sure

Here's their Q&A page

Jollibee on Glee

Have you seen the most recent episode of Glee? Not exactly one of the best episodes they've done in terms of songs and performances, but definitely falling in pretty good as part of their story line.

Jollibee made a cameo too so that's great for local Filipino spirit. Whether it was casual advertising where the chain must have paid millions to get on there, or just plain coincidence (highly unlikely) but either way that's amazing exposure

The store signage of Jollibee was shown during the production number of Artie in the episode Dream On to the tune of Safety Dance

The New Philippine President And Kris Aquino

Everyone thinks it's a big deal that Noynoy Aquino, soon-to-be proclaimed Philippine President is remotely related to the infamous mouth - Kris Aquino.

Everywhere on Facebook, Kris Aquino is being bashed after she promised to leave the country should her brother win. In fact I think she has forced herself to bow out of The Buzz and SNN as a result of her mouthing off.

Here's a clip from Manila Bulletin article on Kris Aquino being First Lady? Now that's a little silly isn't it? Apparently Kris gave up her showbiz career for it? Ridiculous!

“Her decision’s okay,” said Sen. Aquino when asked about Kris’ soft departure from show business during an interview after the Holy Mass of thanksgiving joined by his campaign volunteers in Quezon City last Thursday night.

But the apparent successor to Malacañang was quick to clarify that his sister’s decision to move away from show business is not a confirmation of her taking the role of First Lady.

“She’s (Kris is) not going to be the First Lady. I have a contract with my sisters that once I’m proclaimed, they will return to their respective private lives,” the 50-year-old bachelor said.

Earlier, Kris said she has come to the decision of giving up hosting “The Buzz” and “Showbiz News Ngayon” after deliberating on it with her sisters, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Pinky Aquino-Abellada, and Viel Aquino-Dee.

Kris said she will minimize her television appearance “for Noynoy’s sake," but will keep her stints in her daily primetime soap opera and a talent search program.

When asked if he intends to have a First Lady, Noynoy was hawkish. “I recognize that being married can inspire me, but I am at the same time cognizant of possibly making the wrong choice. Getting married then will only be a heavy burden,” he said.

Election Day 2010 Update From Cebu

I went to the Camputhaw precinct today and yep it was a total mess - as expected. Proctors themselves were complaining because it was hot and disorganized. All the voters just wanted to know where they should go and what they should do.

Around the precinct are more people distributing sample ballots and leaflets, everyone from children to tattooed young men (who are scary by the way) telling you to vote Villar or Gibo or Noynoy.

Cars are lined up blocks from the precinct, so be ready for a good long walk even if you brought your car along. Would probably be better if you left that at home, who know somebody might decide to steal it while you're lining up and trying to vote.

It's a lot slower this time around. The automated voting - in total fairness, wasn't built to make the actual voting process shorter but the tallying was the focus. I prayed for peaceful elections while this time my father went out to vote. Somebody has to watch the house. He said he's number 442 and it's still 180 in his precinct. Guess he'll have to go back after lunch

Comedian Adam Carolla Disses Manny Pacquiao and Filipinos

Some two-bit comedian from the US dissed Manny Pacquiao over his nowhere podcast that I had to search for just to listen to what he said. People are entitled to their opinions but this guy is just way off. Include to that multiple racial assaults on the Philippines. I wish Pacquiao could just have one round in the boxing ring with this guy and we'll see what he has to say!

Of course I disagree with many of Manny Pacquiao's recent decisions like joining politics and other stuff that he's better to live without, but to refer to the Philippines as a country of whores? Now that's a little too much

I didn't even know there was such an insect by the name of Adam Carolla. He's so down the drain that he has to say such ridiculously scandalous things just to get attention. The poor thing is probably so starved he just had to take a shot at Manny Pacquiao who has done nothing to him and to Filipinos whom he know nothing about.

I pity Adam Carolla because even NowBoxing.com thinks he's way off his rocker.

If Carolla knew the story of Manny Pacquiao, he would have nothing but respect for him, instead of calling him an illiterate, brain damaged, moron. Judge the man by the quality of his character not by how rich he was born or what type of education he claims. A man’s character and the way he treats others is more admirable than what family he was born to or what country he resides.

Pacquiao has more class and dignity than many of the Americans I know. It was very strange for Adam to attack a person who treats other people with respect and humility. What is better? Millions of American girls idolizing talentless reality show chicks who act like bimbos and sluts or the Philippines looking up to a man who carries himself with class, humility and earned his fame and fortune through talent, hard work, and dedication.

This just goes to say that Adam Carolla doesn't know what he's talking about. He's just an attention starved ego-maniac motor mouth who doesn't deserve air time.

He must have run out of jokes. How puny his brain must be that he has to take it out on people he knows nothing about.

The Next Arnel Pineda on Pilipinas Got Talent - Jovit Baldivino

Listen to this, you'd think the voice didn't come from him. Like he's lip syncing the whole thing. He's absolutely brilliant

It looks like ABS-CBN just found the next Arnel Pineda in a 16-year old siomai vendor from Manila who sells his wares after-school hours

Judy Ann Santos Pregnant and Expecting. Quitting Showbiz?

Famous soap opera princess Judy Ann Santos is two months pregnant with her first child to husband Ryan Agoncillo.

They tied the knot in Batangas April 2009, quite secretly with a lot of fans disappointed at their lack of tact and sharing disposition so they had to redo the whole wedding shindig for the benefit of the public

It has been rumored that she will slow down her busy schedule being in one of the hottest prime time soap opera Kapamilya's hit television series "Habang May Buhay," co-starring the delicious Derek Ramsey while hubby Ryan Agoncillo is hosting a talent search show for TV5.

To be fair to Judy Ann, she has lost a lot of weight. I've been seeing her in a lot of commercials too so life must be good. Congrats on the new kid. I don't think she won't lose that much by quitting ahead of her game. She'll probably get back to it after she spits out the kid anyway

Mansion of Manny Villar? Corruption Scandal Online

I received this from my email just last week. The pictures below are allegedly the images of Manny Villar's residence in the US, although a friend did mention they are the same pictures of Robert Mugabe's residence (President of Zimbabwe also accused of graft and corruption)

Rich living area

Huge swimming pool

Grand dining area

Even the bathroom is lavish

With a bedroom even bigger than our whole apartment

This mansion is said to be in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I'm pretty sure the mansion is real but if it belongs to Manny Villar or Robert Mugabe, nobody can really know. What I know is that Manny Villar promotes himself as one who intends to end poverty in the nation and these images are considered proof versus his lavish lifestyle that contradicts his political platform.

Manny Pacquiao's Middle Age Crisis

Manny "pacman" Pacquiao is undergoing middle age crisis. Why do I say so? Well the boxer is the best in the Philippines. He has millions upon millions of dollars in winnings and endorsement fees. Manny Pacquiao is a seven division champion for crying out loud! He's the only person in the world who has ever done that!

And yet instead of quitting while he's ahead, instead of keeping his name clean, credible and on everyone's good side -- he goes into politics, he goes into showbiz and he continues to make risky decisions in terms of his next boxing matches.

Although I do tend to be on the safe side, and I also believe that Manny's greatness is in his guts and capacity to take risks (aside from the talent & skill he already possesses)

Recent news about his leg injury (which has been there longer than everyone thinks by the way), is making waves and potentially trying to even the odds on his next fight (gambling reasons most likely)

Manny has been rumored to be in affairs with a number of sexy stars in the Philippines (Ara Mina before and now Krista Ranillo). If that isn't a sign of trouble, I don't know what is. The poor (rich) wife, Jinkee Pacquiao who picked him up when we was a nobody is now suffering from all the ghastly news. I wouldn't mind though as long as all the money still ended up with me

Even Manny's mother - Aling Dionisia is making waves in Philippine showbiz. Manny is slowly shifting his attention to the limelight of Hollywood with multiple guestings in many shows like Jimmy Kimmel and even a concert of his own. The identity crisis is daunting.

Good idea though moving from boxing to showbiz given he has probably had enough punches thrown at him. Here's hoping the fame doesn't wear off before he retires

Here's his clip from Jimmy Kimmel

Watch out for Manny's next fight with Ghanaian Clottey on March 13

Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsey Break Up

Recently released in a local daily in Cebu the break-up of high profile (and delicious couple) Derek Ramsey and Angelica Panganiban - sorry Angelica I meant Derek is delicious (no offense). After a 3-year relationship, I think they've come very far. Derek is now everywhere - and is often half naked in billboards and advertisements, even with his local soap opera - Habang May Buhay, while Angelica is on her way to her new soap opera Rubi in ABS-CBN

According to local news, Angelica is reportedly the jealous type which led to their separation. Although I did hear over the grape vine that Derek isn't exactly big on fidelity either with some girls on the side

This has apparently been confirmed by local site PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) but that they also got back together again (loser!) just last March 2

Crazy Vicky Belo - Misses Hayden Kho

After the very public display of infidelity, it seems Dr. Vicky Belo has gone gaga over ex-boyfriend Hayden Kho.

Only a few weeks ago, Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online reported the sighting of Belo and Kho together at the club, Encore, formerly known as Embassy.

Yesterday, February 23, Belo was again seen with Kho during his arraignment.

“Pero ‘di naman kami nag-usap masyado!” she emphasized. “In fact, I was planning to sit in the back and not talk to him at all na parang fan lang niya ako kunyari. Sasaglit lang ako, kumbaga.

“But then I saw him and I said to myself, ‘Shucks! Ang gwapo pa din niya...’”

Vicki said that it was her and Hayden’s lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, who suggested that the doctor give her ex “moral support” by seeing him. And since Vicki wanted to check how far she has moved on from their romantic relationship, she gave it a “try.”

“I’m the one who broke the promise that’s why I feel bad. But he looked happy naman to see me... I think I made him feel better,” she said.

And so is she. Vicki admits that since February 23, “Tawa ako ng tawa...prior to that kasi, parang naging boring ang buhay...parang walang meaning kasi walang kilig.”

Read the complete article from Manila Bulletin right here

In the meantime check out the newest models for Belo - watch out Hayden might end up sleeping with them soon too

Who Really Won In Pinoy Big Brother Double Up?

There's a lot of controversy surrounding the winner of the most recent Pinoy Big Brother Double Up edition - Melai Cantiveros, who was just third in the running a day before the voting ended.

Paul Jake Castillo had a striking lead to start with, it's hard to believe Melai caught up in such a short amount of time

Sources tell me, hours before the voting was supposed to end - votes for Paul Jake were already being rejected. Many rumors have surfaced saying that the results were rigged by ABS-CBN for Melai to become the big winner.

Did ABS-CBN rig Pinoy Big Brother Double Up? What do you think?

I think they did. If they had Paul Jake become the Big Winner, they would have been accused of being in it just for the money (which they probably are by the way). ABS plays with the results to make the public sweetheart win "against all odds" so to speak. Their biggest mistake really was they showed the running votes prior to the last day. I think that was a ploy to even increase the text votes, which must have worked at some point.

Political Rat Race in The Philippines

Here's an update on the Philippine political rat race. Basically Noynoy Aquino is riding on the fame of now-deceased parents - but otherwise considered mediocre, while Manny Villar is said to be all about the money. I'm not about to mouth him off since he's managed his businesses well so far (Vista Land) who knows how he's manage the country. Third in line is former president Erap Estrada, I have no idea why he's running after being imprisoned for graft & corruption

Anyway if you want a more credible source, here's a blow by blow from ABS-CBN News

Sen. Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III has regained the lead over Sen. Manuel Villar in the latest presidential survey conducted January 28-February 3 by Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS).

According to the TNS survey obtained by ABS-CBN News' Ces Oreña Drilon, Aquino was chosen by 41.54% of 3,000 respondents while Villar was picked by 30.63%.

TNS is a global market research firm with an office in the Philippines.

Aquino and Villar were statistically tied in a Pulse Asia survey conducted from January 22 -26, or around a week before the TNS survey, with the Liberal Party bet garnering 37% and the Nacionalista Party (NP) standard-bearer getting 35%. (Read: Aquino, Villar tied in Pulse Asia survey)

Third in the Jan. 28-Feb. 3 TNS survey was former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada of the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino (PMP) with 11.66%, statistically the same as in the last Pulse Asia survey where he got 12%.

Administration candidate Gilbert Teodoro of the Lakas-Kampi-CMD was fourth with 5.21%, the same as in the last Pulse Asia survey.

Bro. Eddie Villaneuva got 2%, Senator Richard Gordon got 1.7%, Senator Jamby Madrigal got 0.22%, also statistically the same as what they received in the January 22 to 26 Pulse Asia survey.

Villar ethics case as factor

The TNS survey was done around a week after a heated controversy over Villar's ethics case erupted in the Senate, which could be one reason for the changes in the ratings of the two leading presidential candidates.

The Senate committee of the whole's report accusing Villar of unethical conduct in connection with the C-5 road extension project was taken up during the plenary on January 25. The committee had ordered him to return over P6 billion in government funds that were allegedly wasted for the project. (Read: Senators clash in plenary over Villar ethics case)

On January 26, Senate President Enrile also accused Villar of trying to bribe him to change his stand on the issue. (Read: Enrile claims Villar tried to buy him off)

The Senate, however, failed to act on the report after Villar's supporters failed to show up on the last session day of the 14th Congress.

NP downplays survey results

The TNS survey was apparently commissioned by the Aquino camp.

Asked for his comment, NP spokesman and senatorial bet Gilbert Remulla said the report does not disclose how the questions were phrased and whether they were slanted for or against any candidate

"Alam namin na ito ay galing sa Liberal Party. Ayaw nilang banggitin 'yung pangalan eh. Dahil doon, hindi rin namin alam kung ano 'yung mga tanong, kung ano ang slant n'yan, kaya sa ganon ay hihintayin na lang namin ang magiging resulta ng survey ng SWS at Pulse Asia," Remulla said.

("We know this was commissioned by the Liberal Party. They don't want to disclose the name. We also do not know the questions, whether these were slanted...So, we'll just wait for the results of SWS [Social Weather Stations] and Pulse Asia.")

According to the TNS website, it first set up an office in the Philippines in 1983. It offers "full service operations covering all aspects of marketing research and consulting" and claims to be "No. 1 in the Philippines for customised market research."

"Almost 30 years of research experience has made us experts in understanding the Philippines trade and consumer environment. These insights are critical to helping our clients make their important business decisions," TNS Philippines says.

"TNS Philippines offers in-house field and data processing services backed by stringent quality control procedures to make sure the analysis and recommendations we deliver are accurate and timely," the firm says on its website.

Parents: Watch Out For Dengue - Outbreak in Cebu May Be Soon

Cebu City has 217 cases of dengue and six deaths recorded from January to February 13 of this year alone sharing the biggest bulk out of the 724 dengue cases in the region of the same period, based on the dengue registry record

With intentions to minimize infections from dengue strain, PIA Information Services notes:

A vaccine being developed to protect against the dengue virus is currently being tested to children aged six to 14 years old in Cebu City where the incidence of dengue cases is increasing.

Dr. Jocelyn Abellana, the regional dengue coordinator of the Dept. of Health (DOH-7) bared the news during a recent PIA Kapihan that tackled the perennial health threat of dengue disease in the city.

"The Armed Forces Research Institute of Medical Sciences is establishing a satellite unit at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center and they are trying a new vaccine against dengue," Abellana said.

Summer Flights to Boracay - Back On For Cebu Pacific Starting March 1

Hello Bora! Hello Summer! Read in the news recently the Cebu Pacific just reinstated their flights to Caticlan after about seven months of boring non-inclusion of the region

Here are a couple of paragraphs from the Manila Standard Today article:

The budget carrier suspended its flights to Caticlan on July 10 last year after airport officials ruled that airlines may use only smaller planes and only one end of the runway for takeoffs and landings because of its short length. It used the airport in Kalibo instead.

Last month, however, aviation officials told Cebu Pacific that it may now take off both ways on the runway, which is being extended in a P2.5-billion modernization project that aims to upgrade all facilities.

“The airline expects to resume full Caticlan operations by March 28 with 11 Manila-Caticlan-Manila flights and 1 Cebu-Caticlan-Cebu flight daily,” vice president Candice Iyog said.

“This gives [Cebu Pacific] the most number of airline seats to and from Caticlan,” she said, adding the airline will use its brand-new ATR 72-500 aircraft with a seating capacity of 40

Sexy Jennifer Lee of Viva Hot Babes Apologizes For Last Year's Bikini Show

Jennifer Lee of Viva Hot Babes was finally reported to have apologized to our very own wannabe hot babe - provincial governor. As GMA News reports it

Radio dzBB’s Cebu affiliate reported early Friday that Viva Hot Babe member Jennifer Lee personally apologized to Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia at the provincial capitol.

Lee and some sexy stars were charged for holding a bikini show during the Holy Week on Bantayan Island in Cebu in 2009.

Some history though, our dear Governor Garcia filed charges in March of 2009 against those involved in the bikini show for violating Women Development Code and Revised Penal Code regarding indecent shows ~ during the Lenten Season no less

Anyway all is supposedly well as the governor accepted the apology, noting that it will be published in the papers soon

Guess they'll be coming over for the Lenten season again this year?

To properly put the incident in perspective, here are some ghastly images of the said perpetrator Jennifer Lee of Viva hot babes

Who Made Waves in 2009? PEP's 2009 Newmakers from Manny Pacquiao's Wins and Infidelity to Hayden Kho's Scandals, To Judy Ann & Ryan's Secret Wedding

PEP had a good thing going when they put together this list of newsmakers for 2009. Although I don't agree with all of them like Anabelle Rama for instance and giving credit to Manny's extra marital affairs, nevertheless - they have contributed to the color that was 2009. Here they are again, courtesy of PEP

MANNY PACQUIAO It was a banner year for the Pambansang Kamao. He cemented his status as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world by beating two tough opponents this year: Great Britain's Ricky Hatton and Puerto Rico's Miguel Cotto.

Because of his back-to-back victories, in addition to his past winnings, boxing experts hailed him as one of the all-time greatest boxers in the world, while boxing fans worldwide voted Pacquiao as the second world's greatest boxer, just behind Sugar Ray Robinson.

But it was not all roses for Pacman this year. He also got into some controversies.

Before his May 2 fight against Hatton, Pacquiao was reported to have signed up with ABS-CBN after a disagreement with Solar Sports Entertainment, which claimed the right to air all his fights. But after settling his issue with Solar, the Filipino boxing champ apologized for the confusion and decided to stay with Solar and GMA-7.

Just recently, Pacquiao instructed his promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank Inc., to file libel charges against American fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr., his father, and Golden Boy Promotions, for accusing him of using performance-enhancing drugs.

Pacquiao's personal life as well as his showbiz career also took a hit this year.

Weeks before his fight against Cotto, news about his alleged affair with sexy star Krista Ranillo broke and the rumor continued even after the fight. Although Pacquiao himself and Krista's camp denied the rumor, the boxer's wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, did not play the same music. Without directly confirming the rumor, her statements hinted that something did go on between her husband and the sexy star.

Meanwhile, Pacman's latest film, Wapakman, an entry in the ongoing 2009 Metro Manila Film Festrival, is at the tail-end of the box-office race.

HAYDEN KHO JR. Hayden Kho's sex-video scandal with several women, including actress Katrina Halili and showbiz newcomer Maricar Reyes, became a national issue—thanks to the Senate investigation spearheaded by Senator Bong Revilla.

But Hayden's woes did not end there.

Katrina filed a violation of the Republic Act No. 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children that resulted in Hayden's suspension from the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) and eventually the revocation of his license by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Despite this, Katrina still wants him in jail.

Hayden was also reported to have attempted to commit suicide again, but his camp vehemently denied this.

RICHARD GUTIERREZ - First, he filed a P25-million libel suit against PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) about an article involving him and actor Michael Flores at a director's birthday party. The case was dismissed by the Department of Justice for "lack of probable cause", but it was reversed after Richard's camp filed a motion for reconsideration. The case is still ongoing.

Second, Richard was involved in a vehicular accident on May 22 in Silang, Cavite. Richard was able to survive the tragic accident but not his personal assistant, Nomar Pardo. Nomar's family sued him for Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Homicide on July 23.

Third, a report about an airport incident involving Richard and rumored girlfriend Jewel Mische also came out. But the actor's camp denied the issue.

On the positive side, Richard braved the Ondoy flood in Marikina to rescue Patient X leading lady Cristine Reyes. He was also given recognition by some sectors for his environmental efforts.

KATRINA HALILI Hayden Kho's sex videos with Katrina Halili spread like wildfire on the Internet. The actress filed Republic Act No. 9262 or Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children against Hayden and several others suspected of spreading the videos—Hayden's ex-girlfriend Dra. Vicki Belo, Erick Johnston Chua, Dr. Mark Herbert "Bistek" Rosario, and Princess Velasco.

Several TV networks and news websites aired Katrina's first encounter with Hayden during the Senate inquiry of their sex-video scandal on May 28. It was a very dramatic encounter, complete with dousing of water and crying scenes.

Katrina's showbiz career also took a blow partly due to her inability to concentrate on her work during the scandal. She returned to work via GMA-7's Rosalinda, where she played the main antagonist Fedra to Carla Abellana's title character.

KRISTA RANILLO There's no denying that Krista Ranillo made a great impact this year because of her reported involvement with boxing champ Manny Pacquiao. Her alleged affair with the Pambansang Kamao stole some thunder from Pacquiao's victory against Miguel Cotto last November.

Despite the statements of Manny and Krista's family, denying the alleged affair, the statements of Manny's wife, Jinkee Pacquiao, and Gina Alajar were very telling. And Krista's silence to this day is more intriguing.

It's just too bad that Wapakman, the movie in which they first met, is not doing well at the box-office.

JUDY ANN SANTOS & RYAN AGONCILLO WEDDING Two of the biggest celebrities in the Philippines managed to keep their wedding ceremony a secret from almost everyone. Although they had already announced their engagement, nobody—except for a chosen few—knew when and where the exact wedding would take place.

And so, on April 28, 2009, 99.5 percent of the people in the Philippines got shocked upon learning that Juday and Ryan were wed in a ultra-private ceremony at the at San Juan Nepomuceno Church in San Juan, Batangas. The couple just sent photos and videos of the ceremony a few hours later to TV networks, newspapers, and entertainment websites like PEP, to announce that the wedding already took place.

Juday and Ryan are still waiting to have a baby of their own.

ANNABELLE RAMA- Richard Gutierrez's mother, the incomparable Annabelle Rama, also figured in several controversies this year, the most prominent being her feud with GMA-7 executive Wilma Galvante.

The feud resulted in filing of cases against one another. Galvante filed a P7-million damage suit against Rama on March 17. The talent manager, in return, filed a P15.5-million grave-slander case against the lady TV executive last April 17. While Galvante's case against Rama is still in court, the talent manager's case against the TV executive has been dismissed.

Rama also lambasted this website for publishing articles that she and her family believe are damaging the reputation of her son Richard.

BB GANDANGHARI - This year saw the birth of BB Gandanghari, the new persona that Rustom Padilla created after coming out. Rustom, who was once married to actress-TV host Carmina Villarroel, decided to "kill" Rustom and give way to BB.

Rustom's new identity as BB shocked many, including her family. In fact, her mother, Mrs. Eva Padilla, was very vocal in saying that it would be very difficult for her to see her "son" as an entirely different person. But in the end, their love for each other proved to be so strong that their family eventually accepted BB for what she is.

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ & RUFFA GUTIERREZ After co-starring in the ABS-CBN primetime soap I Luv Betty La Fea, news about the alleged romance of John Lloyd Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez hit the headlines this year. Although the two insisted that they were just friends, photos of them entering a hotel and shopping together in Los Angeles painted a different picture.

TYPHOON ONDOY The one who created the biggest impact this year, literally, is not a celebrity but a supertyphoon called Ondoy. In one rare moment, celebrities became ordinary people as they also got affected by Ondoy, which flooded Metro Manila and nearby provinces on September 26.

Celebrities became victims as well as heroes during this tragedy.

Cristine Reyes, Jean and Jennica Garcia, Gladys Reyes, Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, and Giselle Sanchez are just some of the celebrities who were trapped in their homes while Ondoy was wreaking havoc.

Meanwhile, Gerald Anderson, Jericho Rosales, Raymart Santiago, and others braved the floods and rescued some of their neighbors. Hundreds of celebrities and volunteers led by the Kapamilya and Kapuso stars devoted their time and effort to help the typhoon victims through telethons and relief operations.
