Summer Flights to Boracay - Back On For Cebu Pacific Starting March 1

Hello Bora! Hello Summer! Read in the news recently the Cebu Pacific just reinstated their flights to Caticlan after about seven months of boring non-inclusion of the region

Here are a couple of paragraphs from the Manila Standard Today article:

The budget carrier suspended its flights to Caticlan on July 10 last year after airport officials ruled that airlines may use only smaller planes and only one end of the runway for takeoffs and landings because of its short length. It used the airport in Kalibo instead.

Last month, however, aviation officials told Cebu Pacific that it may now take off both ways on the runway, which is being extended in a P2.5-billion modernization project that aims to upgrade all facilities.

“The airline expects to resume full Caticlan operations by March 28 with 11 Manila-Caticlan-Manila flights and 1 Cebu-Caticlan-Cebu flight daily,” vice president Candice Iyog said.

“This gives [Cebu Pacific] the most number of airline seats to and from Caticlan,” she said, adding the airline will use its brand-new ATR 72-500 aircraft with a seating capacity of 40
