Some form of treasure may be buried near the Patrocinia Church in Boljoon, Cebu. Among the articles the diggers recovered: a gold earring and some jars believed to have been owned by pagans. These were inspected by archaelogistics and students from the University of San Carlos Sociology and Anthropology Department according to the local newspaper Sunstar
