Luis Manzano and John Lloyd Cruz will star opposite each other to play a love team in an upcoming film. This is going to be something considering that both actors look a little bit on the gay side being a little too white and a little too clean to be the classic rugged sexy I like in men.

It will be the first time for both actors to play gay roles. Aside from being matinee idols, they've both been linked to seriously sexy and attractive actresses - Ann Curtis and Bea Alonzo to be particular, making their love teams quite famous. So this should be quite an image adjustment as well as acting challenge for both of them.

ABS-CBN seems determined to milk this money-making cow dry before they let the Piolo and Angel love team die.

Of course they're planning on hitting a General Patronage market, which means all their younger fans as well. But even on prime time television they were already a little too sweet and a little over the edge in the grey area of what's sexy.
